Cristiano Ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo was born in 1885, in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal. His complete name is Cristiano Ronaldo Aveiro dos Santos. He grew up with one brother called Hugo and two sisters, Elma and Katia. Ronaldo's name comes from the USA ex president Ronald Reagan. His favourite team was Benfica even though at the age of ten he got a contract with their rival, Sporting Lisbon.
At the age of 17 he demonstrated that he had the great ability to play on both wings. Sporting Lisbon had beaten Manchester United 3-1, and Sir Alex Ferguson(manager) had been interested on him.
After David Beckham had went to Real Madrid, it was the perfect oportunity to get Ronaldo to play for them, he was signed for £12.24 million.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been a very important player for Manchester United and for Portugal's soccer team. He is just 21 years old, and his height is 1.84 meters.

Cristiano Ronaldo is my favorite player. I like his history because he was taken to a team in a very young age. One of the reasons that I like the Manchester United's soccer team, is because he plays there. Cristiano has been a player that awakened my passion for soccer. Even though in some matches he does zero, others he becomes a hero. The best player I've ever seen is Cristiano Ronaldo even though many people thinks he is not so good.

Hi Eduardo,liked a lot your post and Cristiano Ronaldo is one of my favorite soccer players but I don´t like the team in which he plays.You put good information about him like in which year he was born,were did he come from and in which team he plays.It is a good post.
Eduardo, I like how Cristiano Ronaldo Plays too. He is a great soccer player and he is in a good team. But what about his hieght, in wich possition does he plays?
